Hatch is dedicated to providing the highest quality products to the customer. Hatch maintains a world class PPM level by implementing a quality system which empowers all employees to make quality decisions. The Hatch quality team oversees the production process, from advanced quality planning during the pre-production stage to plant support throughout product life.

Gaging

Functional gages are designed and built per part print and GD&T requirements. All significant and critical characteristics are included in the gage design.

Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Hatch utilizes Statistical Process Control (SPC) in real-time, which is used as a tool to control the production process.

Mistake Proofing

Poka Yoke, or Mistake Proofing, is implemented throughout the entire process. The effective use of vision systems, auto unload, proximity switches, pass through gates, mechanical verification and other Poka Yoke devices provides defect free product.

Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)

Quality must be implemented into the design and manufacturing process. Potential quality concerns are identified through Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). The cross functional APQP team implements corrective actions to prevent identified quality concerns.

Customer Service

Quality Engineers, responsible for customer plant support, pro-actively visit customer facilities to maintain product fit and function. Engineers are available for on site problem solving activities.
