Hatch Explains Some Common Manufacturing Myths

Myth:
Manufacturers are “old school” and lack innovation.

Fact:
Not us! Hatch takes pride in being an industry leader in adopting up-to-the-minute technologies. In fact, we just earned an award for innovation for the use of cloud technology and an enterprise-resource planning system. Harnessing technology and building a culture of innovation are key values at Hatch Stamping.

Myth:
Manufacturers typically produce only a few products, which makes it boring and repetitive.

Fact:
Did you know that 95% of the vehicles on the road today contain parts from Hatch Stamping? We engineer and manufacture parts for interiors, braking systems, steering columns, fuel systems, structures and more. From small individual parts to complex assemblies; from precision metal stamping and welding, to engineering services, we have a wide range of capabilities. (Things are never boring around here!)

Myth:
Manufacturers are known for their high employee turnover.

Fact:
Hatch is far above average when it comes to retaining employees. With a focus on people, one of our guiding principles is to respect and protect the rights of all individuals we work with, including employees, customers, partners and supplier partners. We value long-term commitments!
